A blog space dedicated to the sexy older gentlemen out there that, despite their age, leave us completely willing to (at the very least) crave a heavy makeout session with them.

General Iroh
It occurred to my roommates and I that if General Iroh were to truly exist he would indeed be a sexy old man. He's got everything: humor, kindness, humility, compassion, and an all-consuming love of tea (and family). Through most of Avatar: The Last Airbender Iroh seems codgy and not a little sage, but in the second season we see that underneath that soft-bellied exterior he pretends to have, he's really a muscled bad-ass warrior (and every bit as sage as he seems)! We take our hats off to General Iroh, for possessing a heart that's thinly cased in stone and made with a gooey interior that touches everyone.

Al Pacino
Al Pacino is a personal favorite of mine. I've put him as the third entry before the whole page starts getting taken up by nothing but Brits! Pacino isn't my normal tall-dark-and-handsome sort of man. He comes in at 5'7", a little below average in height for men, but does that stop us from finding him to be a hot old man? Absolutely not! He's still got dark down (if perhaps only in his roles, now that he's going to gray!). He was born April 25, 1940 in the Bronx. With a fairly steady film career, Pacino is perhaps best known (and became most popular with) The Godfather movies. I personally noticed him in The Devil's Advocate in his dark and frightening (but oh-so-sexy) role as Satan. And we haven't seen the last of him. According to IMDb, there are 6 movies coming out in the next three years.

Patrick Stewart
Patrick Stewart is best known to me for his role in Star Trek: The Next Generation as Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Not unlike Alan Rickman, Patrick Stewart has a lovely voice that could melt metals into dark chocolate. He started dipping his feet into acting at a young age (12), and when he grew into a young man he took his own steps to joining an acting school and moving on to theater. His voice is authoritative and often lands him in roles of power/authority. Perhaps his other most notable role to me is as Charles Xavier in X-Men. He is also a fan of Shakespeare. Patrick went bald as a young man, but that just makes him more endearing to us, yes?

The Great Alan Rickman
Born in 1946, Alan Rickman is a year older than my own father. A fact that makes him no less sexy. He stands at 6'1" making him tall, gray, and handsome. (Or, if he's playing a certain favorite misunderstood, greasy Professor of a particular magic school, tall, dark, and handsome.) He hails from London, adding a delicious accent to the already smooth tone of voice he's well-known for. It's safe to say that Alan Rickman is one sexy old man.*
